What does it mean having fun? Do you have fun when you hung out with your best friends or when you are watching your favorite movies? Or do you have fun when you are eating a delicious food? I can keep asking you random questions revolving around “having fun” but the gist of what I mean is broader than something you can imagine; it is like a big ocean and all the living beings in it; I mean I can continue asking you such questions till the cows come home. But take all this as an introduction to what I have to say; a few weeks ago I met somebody who had the gift of talkativeness, not in the sense of being negative and annoying but in the sense of being amusing in a silly way, probably not that silly that you feel grossed out to keep reading –rather, in a way you keep reading while not taking anything that seriously. Well, this person I met can chat with you to the extent that you become glued to the flavors, images and textures of the story. His talkativeness is uniquely unusual that you cannot completely call it “talkativeness” but a new horizon for you to explore in the realm of certain dimensions of life, to the degree that everything becomes relative like Einstein’s Theory of Relativity. 

How St. Cloud Somalis spend their weekends

Spending weekends with each other is what St. Cloud Somalis adore so much to the extent that they cannot afford to miss. Somali cafes and restaurants in the city are great hubs for Somalis to meet to have together different Somali dishes, coffee or the traditional Somali tea. In this regard, Islamic religion adores and puts time in a very special place and that is why you see in many verses in the Quran that time is very important and in the Day of Judgement, you will be asked how you spent your time when you were in this world. Indeed, as Muslims, we should be aware all the time how we spend our time and what we spend it on. We should know if we are spending our time on things that will not bring us closer to Allah or if we are spending it on things Allah loves so dearly that we get his reward, which is eternal paradise where death does not exist. We should focus on time to the extent that we know how we spend every minute of our lives. We should have a clear picture how we spend our days and nights, our months and years. If we do that, then we get a clear record of our spending of time, a good record that we can use as an easy reference to make sure that we are doing good things with our time.

I like to write about many things in almost every realm of life. But that is not possible, noticeably the time to do all of that because, among other things, it is time consuming to write about too many things at the same time even if you have the knowledge on a great number of subjects to write about.
